But what awaits you at the start of the new semester? Look forward to an upgrade of the community kitchen and the integration of a brand new play and study zone. The courtyard is also being redesigned and will in the future connect houses B and C with its new BBQ corner. You will meet the house managers in the brand new reception lounge in house A.

Doing laundry is definitely not one of your favourite to do’s. But in the end you can’t get around it, so we’ll rebuild it for you.
In the period from 28.-31.08.2023 the laundry lounge has been renovated. You are now able to use appWash to make washing more convenient and hassle-free.

The apartment upgrade has been carried out in two phases:
On 30.10.23 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., we performed some maintanance works of your switchboard and modernized a part of the electrical installation in your room. To be able to do so, we disconnected your room for about 4-6 hours from the power. This means, lights and sockets in your room did not work. For the time that the rooms were without electricity, we provided extensions cords so you could still work in your apartment. For the switchboard exchange, you didn’t need to prepare or clean anything, as the works will took place behind the door where the switchboard is.
Also from 30.10.23, we began upgrading the apartments, which will were completed for all tenants by January 2024.
For some tenants, it may happened that the modernization of the electricity box and the apartment upgrade took place on two different days. The exact dates have already been communicated via email.
You had the option to give us – THE FIZZ – a power of attorney, through which you will allowed us to enter your apartment even in your absence. Or you could have empowered a third person (e.g. a friend) to represent you in the process. If you needed a power of attorney, you must have signed it personally at reception by 29.10.23 the latest.
You could sign the power of attorney at the reception by 29.10.2023 the latest when you picked up your storage boxes.
You received a separate email with the exact date your apartment would be upgraded and other information about the process. We worked from floor to floor week after week. The upgrade took place between 8am and 6pm. However, you were able to move back to your apartment on the same day.
Yes, we offered you three storing boxes which you could pick up at the reception to pack and store your belongings temporarily. Your belongings must be stored in your cabinets or in your bathroom, as we don’t have extra storing space in the building. The cabinets and bathroom were sealed together with you, so your belongings were safe. If you handed over your apartment by yourself, you could sign the sticker. In case of a power of attorney, one of our colleagues signed it.
According to your rental agreement, we are allowed to make improvements in your apartment. If you denied us access, you must have compensated us for the effort that arised from this.
