To unlock the full potential of our living concept, we created an even better one matching your everyday needs. Since 2023 we are working on the redesigning of the community areas, which will be completely finished approximatly by June 2024.

But what to expect for the next semester? You can look forward to:

  • a new community kitchen in the clubhouse

Laundry Lounge

Doing laundry is definitely not one of your favourite to do’s. But in the end, you can’t get around it. So we rebuilt the laundry lounge for you. Enjoy brand new washing machines!

What changes have been done to my apartment?

In what period was my apartment upgraded? When was it ready?

The upgrade of all apartments took place during October 2023.

What happened if I was out of town when my apartment upgrade is scheduled?

You had the option to give us – THE FIZZ – a power of attorney, through which you allowed us to enter your apartment even in your absence. Or you could have empowered a third person (e.g. a friend) to represent you in the process. If you needed a power of attorney, you must sign it personally at reception.

Where could I get a power of attorney?

You could have signed the power of attorney at the reception when you picked up your storage boxes.

How was I informed when my apartment would be upgraded and how long it would take?

We contacted you through different communication channels. Mainly you received several emails with the exact date your apartment will be upgraded and other information about the process. The upgrade took place between 8am and 6pm. However, you could move back to your apartment on the same day.

Did I get any support from the house management in preparing my room for the refurbishment?

Yes, we offered you up to three storing boxes which you could have picked up at the reception to pack and store your belongings temporarily. Your belongings must have been stored in your cabinets or in your bathroom, as we don’t have extra storing space in the building. The cabinets and bathroom were sealed together with you, so your belongings were safe. If you handed over your apartment by yourself, you could have signed the sticker. In case of a power of attorney, one of our colleagues signed it.

How did the process of the apartment upgrade work and in terms of security of personal belongings and my personal space?

You must have informed us whether you would be present on the communicated upgrade date. If this was not the case, you had to authorise a person of your choice or us directly – THE FIZZ – to enter your apartment during your absence. If you needed a power of attorney, you must have signed it personally at reception.
On the day of your apartment upgrade, we required your presence in order to confirm the condition of your apartment at the time before the refurbishment begins. At the end of the upgrade, we prepared a handover form for you, with which you confirmed that everything is in order and that all your belongings are as they were before the upgrade. The whole process was documented with photos before and after the work. The moment workers entered the room, the bathroom and warderobs were sealed with a sensitive seal to prevent further entry.
If you have filled out a power of attorney, one of our employees or a person authorised by you, sealed the bathroom and your closet, signed the seal and the handover form.

What happened if I don’t agree to the renovation of my apartment?

According to your rental agreement, we are allowed to make improvements in your apartment. If you deny us access, you must compensate us for the effort that arises from this.
