The costs are paid directly to THE FIZZ Leiden and are included in Fee service costs utilities.
Long Stay:
The costs for heating, cooling, and hot water in value of € 92.62 are billed directly through the heating supplier and they are not included in the advanced payment for service costs utilities paid to THE FIZZ Leiden. THE FIZZ Leiden will provide the heating supply agreement together with the lease agreement during the booking journey. Both agreements need to be signed in order to finalize a booking.
Short Stay:
No settlement required.
Long Stay:
Yearly settlement.
Short Stay:
The tenant must have his data entered in the municipal Persons Database at the address of the rented object no later than 5 days after moving in. After the contract expires, the tenant is obliged to deregister the address.
Long Stay:

Failure to do so might result in a certain penalty.
Short Stay:
The short-stay studios are not eligible for rental subsidy.
Long Stay:
Certain long-stay studios are eligible for rental subsidy, depending on certain requirements. Information regarding housing allowances in the Netherlands, and to find out if your studio/apartment qualifies for a rental subsidy can be found here.
Short Stay:
The monthly costs increase by +50% for the service costs utilities fee, service costs general fee and furniture and furnishings fee. If two tenants will live in the double apartment, this fact must be communicated at the time of booking.
Long Stay:
The monthly costs do not increase, i.e. the monthly costs stay the same as with one person occupancy in a double apartment. Double occupancy is only accepted for life partners.
