As a popular office location, Hammerbrook is characterized by many office buildings. However, the changing district has more to offer than the functional business premises and also shows a different face with its charming little corners. Along the canals, which offer beautiful walking opportunities on the Deichtor promenade, you can often find architectural features, such as old factories and warehouses, which contrast with the office complexes with their brick facades. In addition, Hammerbrook is increasingly developing into an art and creative location with many old buildings, art galleries, the Free Academy of Arts, the central library and a number of event locations. The potential of the district is increasing thanks to the many attractive residential projects and is currently developing in a completely new way. Our brand new student residence also offers our FIZZies 451 opportunities to live in a super central location. The Hammerbrook S-Bahn station is just a 5-minute walk away and it’s just one stop to the main train station. There are many small cafés and a supermarket in the immediate vicinity and the jetties can also be reached in a short time.
