Welcome our latest member of THE FIZZ family in Hamburg Hammerbrook that opened in September 2024!
The new semester is just about to start and to kick off this start I have some news for you: We opened a new THE FIZZ house in Hamburg Hammerbrook!
Hammerbrook – in the middle of a new life
Hamburg is a city like no other. Here, student lifestyle, metropolitan flair and the old Hanseatic charm come together and create an unique atmosphere. Everyone can find their place in this perfectly measured fusion of the exciting, young energy of a big city and the classic northern German taciturnity, welcoming in its own way. Because of that, we wanted to make more room for a comfortable and community-supporting student lifestyle.
So here it comes:
We opened a brand-new THE FIZZ in Hamburg Hammerbrook!
To be honest, the district of Hammerbrook was known for a long time as a neighbourhood of many office buildings. But I did say Hammerbrook “was” that sort of bureau jungle. Nowadays, the district is an upcoming residential neighbourhood and a newfound art district in Hamburg! Woven between the characteristic canals and a lot of greenery, a new charm springs to life here. The district is home to Hamburg’s art school, to a record pressing plant and even to Germanys’ biggest Skatepark. No wonder there are more and more ateliers, galleries and event locations bringing life to the district. And that means there are a lot of people with creative ideas, lively goals and good a mood, making Hammerbrook their home, too. So, all in all: It is the perfect location for you to start your student life at THE FIZZ!
Space for all you need
Neatly embedded in Hammerbrooks’ young charm, our new THE FIZZ student accommodation is close to the central station, the Landungsbrücken (Landing stages) and the Deichtor promenades. The next S-Bahn train station is just around the corner, and even a bus stop is just opposite the street. Next to the comfort of short ways to important destinations, THE FIZZ experience offers much space for community, security and retreat whenever you need it.
Bring your own fully furnished apartment, kitchen and bathroom to life with creative decoration and details. Know your bike is safe and locked in the bicycle cellar, and know your friends are just one door and a knock away. Besides the residents, there are of course our House Managers. They’re a part of the soul of every THE FIZZ house! No matter, if you have a question or are up for a little chat. They collect ideas to bring the community together and organise events, lend household items so you don’t have to buy them, and even take in your packages at the reception.
There is a perfect place for every occasion. On the 7th floor, you can find a big study area alongside a rooftop terrace. That means there is much light, a beautiful view and places in and outside for every learning occasion! In the community areas, you can chill out with friends and meet new people, or just spend some downtime among peers. The gaming lounge and a cinema space are a great place to get together, play video games or host a cosy film evening. Everything you need for a little break from daily life. To round it all up, the community kitchens are the perfect place to try out the best recipes from all over the world together!
And in case you’re feeling down (forgive me for the terrible pun in the following…) just go upstairs! Our two rooftop terraces await you with an energising sun bath or a reassuring view over all the things that come together at the new THE FIZZ Hamburg Hammerbrook.
